Irrigation Technician/Manager
$22.00-$30.00 Hourly
MW Lawn & Landscape, Inc. in Olathe, KS is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician for our Irrigation Department.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working for a commercial company
- able to troubleshoot all repairs
- turn on and blow out experience
- knowledge of current technology and WIFI controllers
- Valid Driver’s License
- Install experience is a huge plus
- Backflow certified
- Strong ability to manage ones self
- Snow removal/plowing experience a huge plus
Working Schedule:
- Normal hours are 7:00am – 5:30pm Monday through Friday
- This is a year round position

- Operate Stand on mowers (Wright Standers, John Deere)
- Operate Stihl Weed eaters and blowers
- Drive a truck and trailer
- Change mower blades daily
- Ability to work with mowing crew
- Desire to work as a team
- Dependable and accountable
- Available to work Saturdays on occasion
- Perform Mandatory Monday checks
- Keep vehicle and equipment clean
- Able to stand/walk for 10 hours a day

Job Description
MW Lawn & Landscape, Inc. in Olathe, KS is looking to hire an experienced Landscape Crew Leader. This person will directly oversee one other individual. We are looking for a person that has at least 2 years of experience. This is includes shrub trimming, lawn renovations, plantings, stump grinding and drainage. Typical day is 6:45am – 6:00pm. This position will also partake in snow removal over the winter.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Previous experience with a commercial landscape company
- Detail-oriented & organized person
- Ability consistently lift 50+ pounds
- Drive a truck and trailer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to run a 2 man crew
- Operate a Bobcat, Dingo, Stihl handheld equipment
- Operate aerators, verticutters, spreaders
- Meet daily production goals
- Maintain less than 1.5 hours of indirect time each day
- Available to work Saturdays on occasion
- Must keep accurate start/stop times
- Allocate materials daily
- Report time entry daily
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and equipment
- Reports to Production Manager

| Landscape Design Shadow our Landscape Designer and learn the design/sales process from initial meetings to behind the scenes landscape design. Learn how to complete designs, price options, present ideas to customers, and line out project manager/crews as needed. |
