Body: Your irrigation system connects to your home’s drinking water and without a working backflow preventer, lawn chemicals like fertilizer and pesticide can siphon back into that supply. A backflow test confirms the device is still sealing and protecting your water. Our certified testers run the test, file the results with your water district, and if the device fails, our licensed plumber can repair or replace it and pull the permit so you’re covered and compliant in one visit. We’ll also tell you honestly whether your property even requires a test.

Our testers are certified to inspect your backflow assembly and submit the required report directly to your water district.

We handle the district filing for you Aqua Backflow for Olathe, plus WaterOne and KC Water so there’s nothing for you to submit.

If your device fails, our licensed plumber can rebuild or replace it and pull the cross-connection permit no second contractor needed.

Not every property is required to test. We’ll tell you straight whether it’s mandated for you or simply smart to check.
A complete, certified test and everything that comes after if the device fails.

A certified tester checks your backflow assembly (PVB, RPZ, or double-check) with calibrated gauges to confirm it’s sealing properly.

We submit your certified test results to the right water district Aqua Backflow, WaterOne, or KC Water on your behalf.

We tell you clearly whether your device passed, and exactly what’s wrong if it didn’t.

If the assembly fails, our licensed plumber can rebuild or repair it to get it passing and compliant.

For devices beyond repair, we replace the assembly and pull the required cross-connection permit.

We keep commercial properties compliant with annual certified testing and filing, on schedule.

It’s a safety check on the backflow preventer the device that stops irrigation water (which can contain fertilizer and pesticide) from siphoning back into your home’s drinking water. A certified tester attaches gauges to the assembly and confirms its internal valves still seal properly. If they don’t, the device needs repair or replacement to keep protecting your water.
It depends on your property. The City of Olathe no longer requires testing of residential irrigation backflow devices it’s recommended but not mandatory while commercial properties are required to test annually, with results filed to Aqua Backflow. WaterOne requires it for commercial as well. On the Missouri side, KC Water and several cities require annual testing for all irrigation devices. Either way, your system should have a working device, and we’ll tell you exactly what applies to you.
Where it’s required commercial properties in Olathe and WaterOne, and most Missouri-side systems it’s annual, and your water district will send a notice when your device is due. Even where it isn’t mandated, having it checked periodically is smart, since the device can wear out and stop protecting your water. Scheduling the test with your spring turn-on saves a separate service fee.
We diagnose exactly what failed. In many cases our licensed plumber can rebuild the assembly on-site replacing worn seals or internal parts to get it passing. If it’s beyond repair or freeze-damaged, we replace the device and pull the required cross-connection permit, then re-test and file the passing result.
Yes. We submit your certified test report directly to the right district Aqua Backflow for Olathe, WaterOne, or KC Water so you don’t have to deal with the paperwork or worry about missing a deadline.
A standard test is a flat fee that depends on your device and location (Missouri districts also charge a small submission fee). If a repair or replacement is needed, we’ll quote that separately before doing any work. Call (913) 829-4949 for pricing on your system.

The work the lawnmaintenance workers did for us was exceptional. I have many shrubs and bushes and they trimmed everything beautifully. And just as important, they cleaned up all the trimmings _ and there was a lot _ as well as some other yard waste. We so appreciate such good work. Thank you.
