  • Residential under WaterOne (much of Johnson County) not required. WaterOne doesn’t currently require annual residential irrigation backflow testing, but recommends following any applicable local laws.
  • Every system still needs a working preventer. Requirement or not, all cross-connection systems must have an approved backflow assembly installed that part isn’t optional.
